IDF Mistakenly Invades Lebanon

In a seismic military blunder, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has mistakenly invaded Lebanon. In what was meant to be a large-scale military exercise in the north, the IDF rolled right through southern Lebanon and into Beirut on Monday morning. Resistance was minimal. Apparently, Hezbollah is stretched thin, being too busy in the Clown-Killing Circus, or Syria as it’s officially referred to. When The Mideast Beast asked how such a situation could possibly occur, the IDF Chief of Staff just shrugged his shoulders and said, “F**king Apple Maps!”

“Well, we’re in Beirut and no one seems to be complaining about it. Might as well lounge it out,” said one colonel. “Truth be told, Beirut reminds me a lot of Tel Aviv; vibrant city right on the Mediterranean, hoppin’ nightlife, smokin’ hot chicks, cool architecture, and 27 cafés on every friggin street. The only real difference seems to be all of the bullet holes and rocket-craters. What? We didn’t do it!”

World leaders who were already gathered at the UN’s annual State the F**king Obvious Summit, relayed that the IDF must evacuate Lebanon at once. When asked if he plans on demanding IDF troops leave Beirut immediately, the Lebanese Prime Minister told The Mideast Beast, “To be honest, things have never been more peaceful, and Netanyahu just rang me to see if I wanted to go forward with twinning this place with Tel Aviv. Sure, religious tension and historical animosity has its place, but have you seen Tel Aviv’s beach on a Friday afternoon? Endless supply of ass and a sh*t load of conservative Jews!”  Thanks to MIDEAST BEAST

Israeli jets ‘hit Syrian anti-aircraft battery’ after alleged attack – IDF

Israeli warplanes have bombed a Syrian anti-aircraft battery east of Damascus, the Israeli military said. Syrian forces reportedly fired an anti-aircraft missile at the jets while they were on a spy mission overflying Lebanon.
The battery was reportedly located 50 kilometers (30 miles) east of Damascus, Reuters reported citing Israeli military.
The planes, which the Israeli military said were on a “reconnaissance mission,” were not hit.

The Israeli military reportedly hit the Syrian battery with four bombs, leaving it no longer operational.
Israel immediately reported the incident to Russia, accusing the government in Damascus of a “clear provocation,” according to Haaretz, citing the military.
“The Syrian regime is responsible for any firing from its territory. We see this incident as a clear provocation and we will not allow it,” Haaretz quoted the army spokesperson as saying.
After notifying Russia as part of the air coordination between the two countries, the Israeli Air Force responded two hours after the Syrian missile was fired, according to Israeli paper Maariv, quoting IDF spokesperson Ronen Manlis.
The Israeli warplanes were on “a routine photographic mission,” he added.
According to the Haaretz report, an “Sa5-type missile” was fired at the Israeli aircraft, which is a NATO reporting name for Soviet-designed S-200 surface-to-air missiles.
The Syrian authorities are yet to comment on the strikes. Read more.....

IDF prepares to fight more powerful enemies

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has significantly stepped up the scope and frequency of its combat training, as sub-state jihadist enemies around Israel build up their power. In the event of any future large-scale conflict — whether it be against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon or possibly in Syria; against Hamas in Gaza; or against other foes in other arenas — Israeli military planners believe they will need a ground offensive, in addition to the use of massive air power against enemy targets. Should Israeli military forces need to cross borders to engage enemies and extinguish rocket fire against the Israeli home front, they will have to deal with heavily armed guerrilla-terrorist forces, entrenched in the middle of built-up civilian areas, with access to tunnels, underground bunkers, anti-tank missiles, mortars, machine guns and mines.  Read complete story HERE!
